VOLUNTEERS

There are many ways that you can volunteer to help make a difference with Builders Without Borders of Texas.

  • Form a group to help build or adopt a home.
  • Join one of our crews and help build a home.
  • Visit with and hold interactive activities with the local children on one of our visits.
  • Make a donation to help build a home.

VOLUNTEERING AS A GROUP

Builders Without Borders of Texas enjoys working with churches, businesses and student organizations.  Groups can participate in our Adopt-A-House Program.  In this program, an organization sets a goal of raising enough money to build an entire home.  In Carboneras, where Builders Without Borders of Texas is currently working, the entire cost of a home is approximately $4,500.

If you are interested in home sponsorship, please contact us at builderswithoutborders@hotmail.com

If you are 18 years of age or older and plan to work in Carboneras, please print out the Adult Release Form.  Also you will need:

  • A passport or certified copy of your birth certificate.
  • A driver's license or picture ID.

Vehicle title registration if you plan to drive in Mexico.  The vehicle visa and insurance for a one-week visit will be approximately $60.00 which can be paid for at the border.

If you are a minor, you must fill out the Youth Release Form and have two (2) copies  of the Minor To Travel Form.  Both must be signed and notarized with the appropriate signatures. Also you will need:

  • A passport or certified copy of your birth certificate.
  • Picture ID.

The documentation and release forms for Adults and Minors are required to travel across any international border.
