ABOUT US

Since the founding of Builders Without Borders of Texas, we have established a group of volunteers that all share a common vision.  We believe that all people deserve the basic necessities and should be given the opportunity to create a better life for themselves and their families.

HOUSING

Builders Without Borders of Texas is currently engaged in building homes in Carboneras, Mexico.  Carboneras is a small, isolated fishing village on the Gulf of Mexico.

Builders Without Borders of Texas is also in the process of constructing an equipment shop in Carboneras.  The shop will be outfitted with tools and materials to be used by volunteers and villagers in training programs and community projects.

EDUCATION

Builders Without Borders of Texas is providing the local elementary school with several computers and printers.  The computers are loaded with interactive and educational Spanish software, enabling the children to have an open window to the outside world.
