General Budget
Builders Without Borders of Texas, Inc., is an all-volunteer organization. Donations applied toward the general budget will be used to pay
administrative costs to keep the organization operational. This includes expenses such as web site fees, printing, and mailing expenses. Since all of the students in the College Sponsorship Program are not sponsored and BWBT does not want to deny any deserving student the opportunity to go to college, any uncovered program expenses are made up by the general budget.
Project Donations
Construction projects can be expensive. Volunteer teams are asked to cover the costs of the materials that their team will use during their volunteer time. However, sometimes teams are unable to cover the total expenses. Project donations are used to make up these costs, as well as to help pay for transportation and fuel expenses.
Several of BWBT's large projects have been funded due to the generosity of individual donors.
